This paper aims to explore the combination of sola scriptura & tota scriptura in Christian teaching to strengthen the faith of the congregation. Sola scriptura affirms that the Bible holds the highest authority in the Christian faith. Sola scriptura brings purity to the Bible without any interference from external things such as culture. On the one hand, tota scriptura is a principle for understanding the truth of the Bible as a whole. The Old and New Testaments are one big narrative that cannot be separated from each other. Tota scriptura insists that the entire teaching of the Bible must be considered theologically and ethically. This combination of tota scriptura and sola scriptura will bring strength to the congregation's life of faith. The congregation will understand the Bible as the highest authority. They will also understand that the Bible is a unity of truth that cannot be fragmented. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, the author will explore the combination of sola scriptura and tota scriptura in Christian teaching to strengthen the faith of the congregation. The author argues that sola scriptura and tota scriptura should be combined in Christian teaching to enhance congregational faith. This paper offers the novelty of developing a teaching
