Children are the next generation of the nation who must have high education and quality in continuing the previous generation. Therefore, parents/teachers play an important role in determining the life goals of children from childhood, because children have a bright future and dreams in hopes of building a bright future in the future. directing children as superior generations, having good character, and being able to have potential is one of the duties and responsibilities of parents and teachers, because that potential will never grow by itself without the help of others, and not only that, parents also need to prepare Children become leaders from an early age, so that when they grow up, they can determine their future and life goals. So the purpose of this study, to provide an explanation or increase the knowledge of parents and children about how to determine the purpose of life in children 0-8 years old, researchers used library research by examining theories based on facts from studies. The results of the study of determining the purpose of life in children, namely teenagers can determine the direction and purpose of their lives.
